Introduction to the Journey

Should I open this blog with the cheesy lines to the likes of:
我願做一隻沒有雙腿的小鳥; I'd rather be a legless bird.
?

After thorough consideration, I finally decided, I am venturing into China.

Next year (right after Chinese New Year), I shall be embarking on a 6D5N adventure to Taian, Shandong. This blog is dedicated in entirety to this trip, before the start to after the finish.

Some briefs on my destination:

Tai'an (Chinese: 泰安; pinyin: Tàiān) is a prefecture-level city in western Shandong province, People's Republic of China.
Centered around Mount Tai, the city borders the provincial capital of Jinan to the north, Laiwu to the northeast, Zibo to the east, Linyi to the southeast, Liaocheng to the extreme west and Jining to the south. To the west, Tai'an is separated from the province of Henan by the Yellow River.
Its population is 5,494,200 at the 2010 census whom 1,594,877 in the built up area made of 2 urban districts (Xintai and Feicheng).

Needless to say, Mt Tai will be on my radar. I am still working out more objectives to strike on, but that should be it for this introduction post. I will be putting up some calculations of cost thus far in the next post.
